Science in the Park 2012

The Nottinghamshire branch of the British Science Association takes great pleasure in organising 'Science in the Park' on Saturday 10th March 2012 between 11am-4pm in Wollaton Hall.

This event takes place as part of National Science and Engineering week, shining a spotlight on how the sciences and engineering relate to our everyday lives. It also aims to inspire the next generation of scientists with fun activities for all.

Key features of this year's event are:

  • Chemistry demonstrations

  • A Solar System model display

  • Hands on activities by Gizmo's lab

  • A display of model aircraft by Bingham's Model Flying Club

  • Presentation of Bloodhound SSC's unique car model

  • Competitions and much, much more!

If you would like further information, you can visit the Science in the Park 2012 website.
